Waverider Buoys

The 4-directional wave rider buoys are situated at many places: They are moored in the Baltic Sea, North Sea (Sylt) and Caribbean (Colon, Pananma). Older positions are Fedje in Norway, Odra Lagoon, Koserow (out of Odra Lagoon), Hiddensee, Büsum and Amrum (Pallas)
The buoys have a diameter of 0.9m and are measuring waveheight, wavedirection and temperature.
